Position: Bookkeeeper Positions available: 1 Compensation: $25.5 / hour plus overtime pay Terms of employment: Permanent Full time 30 hours/week Start date: As soon as possible Working Location: 4525 Lougheed Highway Suite 2307B, Burnaby, BC V5C 0K3 Job Requirements: Main Responsibilities: � Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll � Calculate fixed assets and depreciation � Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems � Maintain general ledgers and financial statements � Post journal entries � Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports � Prepare tax returns � Prepare trial balance of books � Reconcile accounts Minimum Requirement: � Minimum college diploma. � Minimum two years experience as a Bookkeeper. � Proven knowledge in accounting or bookkeeping is required. � Ability to communicate in English. � Solid organizational and customer service skills. � Proficiency in data entry. � Familiarity with Microsoft office and bookkeeping software. � High attention to detail. � Honesty with work ethics.
